Kaizar Campwala

Kaizar Campwala, Jetty’s General Manager, has helped launch and build several media ventures. Prior to Jetty, he co-founded CALmatters, a statehouse reporting organization in Sacramento, and was director of business development and partnerships at Stitcher, a leading podcast platform. Kaizar is a board member at the San Francisco Public Press, and a mentor at the media accelerator Matter.

Julie Caine

Julie Caine is Jetty’s Executive Producer. She is an award-winning public radio veteran and podcast managing editor and producer. Previously Julie was managing producer for KALW News in San Francisco. KALW is a springboard for many well-known podcasts - from 99% Invisible to Kamau Right Now to The Stoop. There she shaped journalism training for what many people call ‘the creative NPR station.” Her work has aired on national and international programs. She believes deeply in Grace Paley’s assertion that you must be a story listener to be a storyteller.

 
 

Casey Miner, Senior Producer
Casey's work has appeared on KALW, NPR, KQED, Slate, Marketplace, Mother Jones, Pop-Up Magazine, Note to Self, and Life of the Law. She is also creator and executive producer of The Specialist podcast. Casey believes everyone should have a chance to be on-mic.

Leila Day, Senior Producer
Leila has produced content for NPR, AARP, USA TODAY, and contributed to various national podcasts. She produces and co-hosts The Stoop podcast which tells “stories about black identity that aren’t always shared in the open.” Her passion is creating artful and informative audio.

Raja Shah, Senior Producer
Raja comes to Jetty from KALW, where he produced award-winning stories about the Bay Area and created The Bridge, a podcast showcasing the best of the KALW newsroom. Before getting into radio, he helped create Google Trends as a product manager at Google.

Jessica Wang, Senior Video Producer
Jessica started her journalistic career in the fast-moving world of sports, but quickly moved into investigative longform reporting. She found her home at PBS, joining the Bill Moyers team for a series of documentaries and programs. Her work there was recognized for an Emmy award and several nominations. 

Megan Jones, Podcast Operations/Launch Manager
Megan is experienced in longform and shortform audio production as well as the business side of podcast networks. Recently she worked as a founding digital producer for Ear Hustle from Radiotopia, and as an associate producer on David Sedaris' Theft by Finding audio book, and in podcast operations/social engagement for the launch of The Stoop podcast.

Lacy Jane Roberts, Producer
Lacy has a master's degree in journalism from UC Berkeley, and her work has been seen and heard on PBS Newshour, The Atlantic, Here and Now, and NPR affiliates around the country. You can also catch her teaching podcasting classes, spinning old country records, and riding her bike.
 

Seth Samuel, Composer & Sound Designer
Seth has a bachelor’s degree in music composition from Oberlin Conservatory and a master’s degree in music composition for film and multimedia from NYU. Seth won a Webby Award in 2017 and was an Emmy finalist four times in 2016 and 2017. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, son, cat, and dog.

Mark Behm, Studio Engineer
Mark Behm is a San Francisco based mixer, sound designer and composer. He served as Lead Audio Post Mixer for both Current TV and Al Jazeera America. His mixes can be heard in the Peabody Award winning series Faultlines and Vanguard as well as thousands of broadcast cable network shows. Mark has scored TV spots for Adult Swim as well as three seasons of the web series Classic Tales by Vans. Mark lives in Sebastopol CA. with his wife Marissa.

Ian Coss, Producer & Sound Designer
Ian's work has been featured on radio programs and podcasts such as The World, Studio 360, Life of the Law, Women of the Hour, Afropop Worldwide, and BBC’s Cultural Frontline.

Meradith Hoddinott, Associate Producer and Sound Designer
Meradith has produced stories for 99% Invisible and PRI's The World. She also worked at Nordic Food Lab in Copenhagen to launch their podcast Nordic Food Lab Radio. Most recently, she was the the lead producer and engineer for OZY Media and their premier podcast The Thread.

Graelyn Brashear, Engagement Editor
Graelyn has a master's degree from UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism and has reported for American Public Media's Marketplace, Capital Public Radio and Alaska Public Media. She also manages podcast projects for the Berkeley Advanced Media Institute.

Paulana Lamonier, Engagement Producer
Paulana is a Haitian-American, multimedia journalist who loves to tell compelling stories. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from CUNY York College, she worked and wrote for numerous publications: ESPN’s The Undefeated, HRDCVR Magazine, Her Agenda, LearnVest, Black Enterprise and more. She loves Jesus and chocolate and cries when she watches the ending of “Set it Off.”
